AI and the way
we teach
At Practisi, we use AI to answer questions, offer guidance during lessons, and assess submitted work. We provide the support, but the work remains the learner’s own.
Our approach
Good instruction gives people room to ask questions. It also gives them the opportunity to work through problems on their own.
We’ve built that distinction into Practisi. Help is available throughout the experience. Assessment is based on the work each learner submits.
Ask Practisi
Ask Practisi answers questions and helps you explore subjects that interest you. It can also help you navigate and find information across Practisi.
When signed in, you can ask about your account and progress.
Clare
Clare is your tutor throughout every Practisi lesson. She understands what you’re studying and can explain difficult ideas or help you work through a problem.
She can also review what you’ve tried so far while leaving the assignment for you to complete.
Learn moreThe Evaluator
The Evaluator reviews your work after you submit an assignment. It checks your response against the assignment’s requirements and explains what you did well and where you can improve.
The assessment is separate from the guidance you receive during lessons.
A world shaped
by AI
AI is changing how people live and work. As its role continues to grow, understanding what it can do and how to use it well becomes increasingly important.
Our responsibility
AI can give an answer that sounds right and still be mistaken. We take that limitation seriously. Learners should be able to question an explanation and check the information for themselves.
We keep tutoring and assessment separate because they serve different purposes. Clare helps during lessons. The Evaluator reviews submitted work against the requirements of each assignment.
As Practisi develops, we will continue improving the accuracy of its guidance and the quality of its assessments. People should be able to understand the feedback they receive and what it means for their progress.
